Creativ Festival 2007
From a glittery gala dinner, Seamus O'Reagan's jeans, to a newly designed 200 000 sq ft show floor, the Creativ Festival had it all!
Held over three days, October 26, 27, & 28th, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the festival saw over 80 000 people come through their doors. They had booths for every conceivable leisure activity including A Card for Home.
Contacted earlier in the year by Shoshana, the Community Liaison, the festival asked if they could donate a booth to us. Being in the crafting industry, they felt that their participants would eagerly take part by visiting the booth and crafting a card for a soldier and his family. Pre-made cards would also be accepted.
In addition to the booth, Shoshana worked to have the stationary donated as well as paper cutters, embellishments, adhesives, and to secure the support of a scrapbook and card magazine.
Please take the time to visit each one of these amazing companies and thank them for their support for our troops and the families of those that serve this great country.
To Shoshana, the Creativ Festival, our generous donators, and to all card crafters,
We humbly thank you for your dedication in making this happen for our military community and for your generosity of time and donation of materials.
Your support of ACFH and the troops will be remebered in each card that is received. Thank you for helping us send A Little Love in an Envelope.
